Terms and conditions
Scope of application
Article 1.
1. Contracts of Accommodation and related agreements to be entered into between this Hotel and the Guest to be accommodated shall be subject to these provisions. Any particulars not provided for herein shall be governed by the laws and regulations applicable and/or generally accepted practices.
2. When the Hotel enters into a special contract with the Guest, insofar as much special contract does not violate the laws and regulations and generally accepted practices, notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the special contract shall take precedence over the provisions of these provisions.
Refusal of Accommodation Contracts
Article 2.
1. The hotel may refuse to accept as completed an Accommodation Contract under any of the following conditions.
(1)when the application for accommodation does not conform to the provisions of these provisions.
(2)When the Hotel is fully booked and no room is available.
(3)When the Guest seeking accommodation is considered likely engage in conduct that will contravene the law or act against public under or good moral in regards to the accommodation.
(4)When the Guest seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an infectious disease.
(5)When the Hotel is requested to assume an unreasonable burden with respect to accommodation.
(6)When the hotel is unable to provide the accommodation due to natural calamities, malfunction of the Hotel facilities or other unavoidable causes.
(7)When the Guest seeking accommodation is obviously intoxicated and could cause annoyance to other guests or when the guest is behaving in such a manner as to be an annoyance to other guests.
Application for Accommodation Contracts
Article 3.
1. Guest who intends to make an application for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel shall provide the Hotel with the following information.
(1)Name, sex, nationality and occupation of the guests
(2)Any other particulars requested by the Hotel.
Deposit
Article 4.
1. When our hotel has accepted a request for reservation of accommodation, we may request the payment of deposit, limited to the charge of the accommodation for the period of stay (When the period of stay is over 3 days, it shall be for 3 days)within designated period.
2. When the deposit in the aforementioned paragraph comes with in the scope of the following article . it shall be made to cover the breach of agreement charge with any remainder refunded.
Cancellation of reservation
Article 5.
1. When the Guest cancels the Accommodation contract in whole or part due to causes for which the Guest is liable, the Guest shall pay the cancelation charges as listed below.
2. When a guest does not appear by 8pm on the accommodation date (or two hours after the expected time of arrival when the hotel is notified in advance) without advance notice, the Hotel may regard the Accommodation contract as canceled by the guest.
3. When the reservation has been considered as canceled, in accordance with the previous paragraph. but if the guest is able to prove that his failure to appear without contact was due to the delay or non arrival of the train, airplane or other public conveyances and not to any cause due to him, this hotel will not receive the breach of agreement charge.
Article 6.
1. The hotel may cancel the accommodation contract under any of the following conditions.
(1)when the guest comes under any one of (1) through (3) of Item1, Article 2.
(2)When the clarification of particulars in clause 1 of article 3 has been requested and not complied within the designated period.
(3)When payment of the reservation deposit , stipulated in article 4 paragraph 1. has been requested but not complied within the designated period
2. In case of cancellation, we will refund the full fee you have paid in advance.
Registration
Article 7.
1. The Guest shall register the following information at the Front Desk of the Hotel on that day of accommodation.
(1)Name, sex, nationality and occupation of the Guest.
(2) Passport Number, Port& Date of entry to Japan ( except for Japanese citizens)
(3)Date and estimated time of departure.
(4)Other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.
Check-out time
Article 8.
1. The hotel’s Check-out time is 11am.
2. If you require a later check-out time, Contact front desk. We would be please to arrange late check out for you.
Notwithstanding the provision of the preceding Paragraph, there are cases where our Hotel may accept the use of the guest room in hours other than those specified in the preceding Paragraph, in which case an additional charge will be required as specified below.
(1)10% of the regular price an hour between11am and 3pm.
Business Hours
Article 9.
1. Business hours of the main facilities in the Hotel is given in detail in the information booklet provided in the room.
Payment
Article 10.
1. Payment of bill shall be made in the front cashier in currency, voucher and credit cards recognized by the Hotel at the time of arrival.
2. You can also pay accommodation expenses by bank transfer or at the front desk in advance.
Observance of Regulations
Article 11.
1. The Guest shall observe the Regulations established by the Hotel.
Rejection of continued occupancy
Article 12.
1. Our Hotel may reject the continued occupancy of the room, even for the accepted reservation period if;
(1) The guest comes under any one of items (3) through (7) of Article 2
(2) The guest does not observe the rules mentioned in the preceding Article.
Liabilities of the Hotel
Article 13.
1. The responsibilities of our Hotel concerning accommodation shall start from the time the guest is registered at the front desk and terminates at the time the guest leaves his or her room to check out.
2. If the guest can no longer be accommodated due to reasons for which our Hotel is responsible, except when it is difficult to do so because of force majeure, shall arrange to secure accommodation at another hotel of the same or similar class.
Cancellation Charge
(1)Individual
A 1 day prior to Accommodation day =20% of the rate on the first day
B Accommodation day= 80% of the rate on the first day
C No show= 100% of the rate on the first day
(2)Group(more than 15 people)
A 2-9 day prior to Accommodation day= 10% of the rate on the first day
B 1 day prior to Accommodation day=20 % of the rate on the first day
C Accommodation day= 80% of the rate on the first day
D No show= 100% of the rate on the first day
Rules and Regulations
To ensure pleasant circumstances throughout the hotel and to maintain good public order, Article 11 of the “Terms and Conditions” states, “ The Guest shall observe the Rules and Regulations established by the Hotel, which are posted with in the premises of the Hotel.
We reserve the right to refuse or to cancel the occupancy of a room to any guest who fails to comply with the "Rules and Regulations" listed herein.
1.Valuables
It is advisable to keep your valuable in the safe at the front desk during your stay at the Hotel. In the event that the above procedure has not been observed, the Hotel will not be responsible for the loss, damages or theft of your valuables.
2.The room key
①When you leave your hotel room, pull the door completely closed behind you.(The door locks automatically)
②Keep your cardkey safe. If your cardkey is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement card for 1,000yen.
③You will need your cardkey to take the elevator from the first floor between 1am and 5am for security purposes.
④Show the restaurant staff your cardkey when you want to charge it to your room and sign the bill.
⑤Make sure the latch is fully engaged whenever you are in the room.
3.For your safety
①it is strongly recommended that before opening the door you look through the scope set into the door.
You are requested to notify the Front Desk immediately in the event of any unusual occurrences or if any unidentified persons are seen to be loitering around.
②Meeting with visitors in your room is against hotel policy.
4.In the hotel room
①Ironing and cooking inside the hotel room is prohibited.
②Smoking in / near bed is strictly prohibited. Please do not put the ashtray on the bed side table.
③Take a look at the evacuation plan on the back of the door.
④It is prohibited to take photographs without permission within the hotel premises for personal or commercial purposes.
Partying in the hotel room is also prohibited.
⑤Removal or deformation of fixtures and equipment is prohibited.
⑥If you broke or stain something in the room, please report it to the front desk.(we may ask you to compensate for damages, depends on how bad it is )
⑦Do not take anything such as towels, hair drier from your room.
We will file a damage report to the police.
5.Custody of Guest’s Belongings
The items will be kept for a certain period as follows.
they will be disposed of after a certain time if they are not collected .
- (1)items which hasn’t been
picked up at the front desk - 3months
- (2)Clothing
- 3months
- (3)Lost items
- 6months
6.Prohibited acts. The following articles, which may be nuisance to other Guests, cannot be brought in to the Hotel.
①Animals or Reptiles(as pets)
②Article of offensive odors or disturbing noise.
③Explosive and flammable articles
④Illegal items
⑤Gambling, behavior threating to public peace and order, immoral acts,
or disturbance of other Guests is strictly prohibited in the hotel.
⑥You are kindly requested not to go out of your room in Yukata or slippers.
⑦Distributing advertising material in the Hotel is not permitted.
⑧Illegal drug possession or use.
⑨Only registered persons can use the Guest rooms.
